Christmas Time is Here
It’s December again and we are getting ready to celebrate the birth of our Savior. It is easy to get wrapped up in all the hustle and bustle of the season and forget to take time and enjoy our friends, family and loved ones. It is truly better to give than receive. Jesus gave us an example of serving on another in love. In John 13:34 jesus said: A new commandment I give to you that you love one another just as I have loved you, you are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another.

The youth group will be having a fundraiser on the 8th to raise money for CIY. They will watch all you busy parents children from 7:00 to 3:00 so you can have time to get all your Christmas shopping done!!!!!! See Lisa Jeannings for more details..

Hey all, I think most of you know but the website is up and running. There are going to be pictures put up randomly, so stop by and check it out!
We have a quite a few things going on this month, from the nativity to caroling, from Christmas to the New Year. This is often thought of as the time of joy, but for many this can be a very depressed season. If you find yourself in the latter don’t be discouraged. Instead find somewhere to plug in. If you would like to become a more active member in our congregation, please talk to an elder or deacon about volunteer opportunities.
